My Perspective

The colors, textures, and gestures of my industrial and urban influenced canvases reveal my approach of figuring out the formal rules then playfully tossing them aside. What remains are compelling energetic motions expressing human emotion. I hope the vibrations I put into my work resonate with you.

I think the key to an inspired life is to dare to be a rookie at things! Corporate Transformation by Day. Creative Transformation by Night. Continuing to bridge these seemingly different worlds, I know will not only inspire my personal expression and Art life, it also enables me to mentor others’ success. My vision includes lifting other Artists, particularly in the Detroit community, sharing both Acumen for Business and Energy for Art.

I wasn’t born here but I got to Detroit as soon as I could! First living in Corktown, and now in Eastern Market, I love being surrounded by the sights, sounds, and cultures of this vibrant city. Food, art, architecture, and people of all flavors add to the spice of life here. Detroit’s galleries, art organizations, Artists, and Collectors have embraced me and set me on fire.
